JOSH ORTEGA

Josh Ortega's background is in writing and video editing. Prior to joining Smarter Campaigns he worked for a variety of companies doing freelance social media management and video production. He cultivated his customer service and sales skills while working for Apple in various capacities, from retail to telephone support. Josh specializes in layout design, video production and research.

A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Josh spent his college years pursuing a career in sports journalism. He was the Sports Editor of the school newspaper, the Campus Press, as well as a Sports Anchor of the college news station. He is an active member of the NAHJ participating in their UNITY conference twice. He was a finalist for both a ESPN College Journalist and Hearst award.

A native of Colorado, Josh lives his life seeking humor, good food and cold beer. In his free time he uses his creative talents to produce projects for his friends and family. He is an avid sports fan bleeding black and gold for his Buffs.
